A Quintessentially English Fete
Towersey Manor, as usual, will be the stunning setting for the Towersey Church Fete. This quintessentially English fete grows in popularity every year with attractions for every age, from strolling round the beautiful gardens to running down the track in our popular children races.
Eating and drinking
You could indulge in a delicious cream tea served in the tranquillity of the medieval barn, or take a seat on the front lawn whilst enjoying food from our BBQ and a refreshing pint of Pimms or a cold beer. Perhaps treat yourself to an ice cream whilst enjoying the live music.
Garden tours included
Entrance is just £2 per person with free entrance for children. Entrance includes free visit to the magnificent Manor Garden.
Activities for the whole family
There is fun and entertainment throughout the afternoon, accompanied by live music from THE NOTATIONS. We’re also delighted to welcome Towersey Village Voices, Towersey Morris and Three Horseshoes Morris.
Children's games
There will be games for the children and the races are sure to be a high point of the day. This year, we have a children's entertainer booked as well to keep the children entertained throughout the afternoon.
Refreshements
If you need some nourishment, you’ll find the Manor Barn offers an oasis of calm with cream teas and cake, or head to the Pimms stall or BBQ.
Stalls galore
We have many and varied stalls where good-quality bargains can be found, so do look out our Manor Boutique as well cakes, toys, pre-loved goods, plants and more. And don’t miss the Raffle and the Silent Auction where there is an impressive list of items on offer.

Our very own home-bred lamb raised on good green Towersey grass…no nasties (weight Approx. 30kg, comes butchered/jointed into legs, shoulders, chops and mince, Currently Frozen)

How to find us
To navigate to the Fete just put OX9 3QR into your Satnav and head to Manor Road, Towersey and follow the signs. There is ample free parking just a short walk from the entrance and disabled parking in the grounds for those who need it.
